Advantio representative Alexey Grebenyuk will participate in the 6th EMA Fraud Conference 19 and 20 September in Odessa, Ukraine. The conference represents one of the most important forums of Eastern Europe regarding fraud problem, in which more than 100 specialists from 10 Eastern European countries will participate.


Advantio will hold 2 speeches regarding ATM, POS and Logical security. An agenda of the conference is full of interesting reports about real and existing problems that today affect the market and discussions about that will take place during the round tables and panel discussions.

  • Delegate from State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine will make a report about fighting the legalisation of finances that were acquired through cybercrime.
  • During the round table problems of neglecting workstation security measures from the side of client will be reviewed. This problem stipulates growth of CNP and remote banking fraud. Possible solutions will be discussed. The round table will be moderated by Kaspersky Lab along with representatives from banks.
  • Kaspersky Lab will present a solution for protection of remote banking systems on client’s side - Kaspersky Safe Money
  • An expert in the security field, the company Advantio (Ireland) will raise the topic of logical security of ATMs and POS. Proposals on hardening the logical security of terminal devices will be made by the company GMV Innovating Solutions S.L.(Spain)
  • Reports from the Executive Director of the bank AIK Banka (Serbia), ETCCEE company (Germany) and association “EMA” will  concern practical moments and advantages of a fraud information exchange between banks on the example of Serbian Payment Security Forum, Fraud Prevention Network and Exchange-online system.
  • Company VASCO Data Security that is a world leader in the field of identification and digital signature solutions will present an expert approach to the problem of implementing strong authentication.
  • Expert in the field of information security, company CA Technologies (Germany) will tell about ensuring security of eWallet and its application with progressive two-factor authentication.

Currently, 144 representatives from monitoring, risk management and security departments of banks, law enforcement and state departments and technology vendors from 10 countries confirmed participation in this conference. 


EMA & the 6-th Eastern Europe EMA Fraud Conference. The Association was established by Ukrainian banks members of Europay International Payment System in 1999 with the purpose to coordinate market development of payment cards Maestro and MasterCard.
